The pros and the cons of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is certainly a great piece of hardware. Coupled with excellent software, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is here to stay. The tablet will no doubt send those into dizziness who are not used to such phones. However, the device, even if a bit pricey, will give you full money’s worth.

Those who aren’t accustomed to using such phones or tablets – the phablets – they will take a bit of a time to get used to the device. The phablet in no way is a friend of your pocket as it will hardly fit in there. But just consider the features the phone comes with and you will know what it is.

Let us first have a look at the upsides of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3

The most prominent thing is the battery. A 3200mAh battery does full justice to the device considering the range of apps and software it allows the users to use. Moreover, there is also a 13MP rear camera and a 5.7 inch full-HD Super AMOLED screen. For such a screen and such a strong camera, the battery is entirely comfortable.

An excellent 3GB of RAM makes the phone fast and carry out the ‘orders’ in an excellent speed. The phone allows using a couple of apps at the same time. The multi-window functionality allows multi-tasking easily. The 2.3GHz quad-core processor allows fast processing.

The S Pen is a funny thing out there and is more improved than the Note 2. Doodling and writing your own script is just as easy. What’s more, you can convert your handwriting to text. Dialing a phone number has become easier as it can be done with a single click.

The downsides of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Though the phablet comes with 3GB RAM and 2.3GHz quad-core processor, it does freeze at times. It does take a hiccup and that is certainly not expected from such a device. If an app hangs, it will cause the entire device to hang and freeze. That is one annoying thing about the phablet.

The battery, though a powerful one, doesn’t support your device for an entire day. The gadget does heat up if used continuously for a couple of hours or more. The screen can act nasty at times making the users tap twice to launch an app, at times.

All-in-all the device will serve you good if you use it in a structured manner. That should make your day with the device that costs Rs. 49,900.
