The largest e-com site in the world, Amazon will soon be launching the Kindle Paperwhite for the Indian market. The company made the announcement today – June 14. Kindle Paperwhite is the premium e-book reader. Amazon will also be launching Kindle Fire for India.
Amazon has revised the prices of the vital Kindle e-reader. The price has been reduced by Rs. 1000. Earlier, the gadget cost Rs. 6,999, but now will be cheaper and will be available on Amazon.in for Rs. 5,999. The Kindle e-reader was launched about 10 months back.
The Wi-Fi model of Kindle Paperwhite on Amazon.in costs Rs. 10,999. However, the Wi-Fi plus 3G device is a bit costlier and is available for Rs. 13,999. The Kindle Fire tabs, however, will carry a higher price tag than the Kindle Paperwhite.
These gadgets will have HD screens with 7-inch and 8.9-inch displays. The 7-inch device will cost Rs. 15,999, while the gadget with the bigger screen will be available for Rs. 21,999. These Amazon products will be obtainable from June 27.
