Apple CarPlay with its cool features is a topic of attraction for a number of people out there. The Cupertino-based company is now revealing that the feature gives support to 200 vehicles.
According to Apple’s updated website listing with supported Apple CarPlay vehicles, the number now reaches the 200-mark. The feature previously prevailed in 150 vehicles as per the site’s listing. As Apple reaches the milestone support to 200 vehicles, it spots latest 50 models. These new models include some of the upcoming vehicles for 2017.
The forthcoming vehicles are coming from a variety of brands including Audi, Kia, Honda, Volkswagen, Maserati, and Suzuki. However, a few models have been already announced by the companies. But there are some cars that didn’t hit the market yet and some of them are still waiting to get firmware updates.
Some of the vehicles have been recently announced that include Jeep Compass 2017. Well, this is considered the first Jeeps that support Apple CarPlay. Also, there is BMW 5 Series Sedan 2017 that will carry Apple CarPlay. BMW’s this latest vehicle is considered one among the initial vehicles that support the wireless CarPlay in the next year.
Let’s take a glance over the vehicles that have been newly added to the list. The luxury car company Audi is using CarPlay support in its vehicles. Its upcoming vehicles 2017 A6, A7, R8, and 2018 Q5 are the newly additions to have CarPlay support.
The list unfolds with Honda to the next as its 2017 CR-V and 1017 Pilot will also support the feature. Following the trail, Maserati enlists its 2017 Ghibli and Levante to have CarPlay. The South Korean company, Kia’s vehicles 2014-2017 Soul, 2015-2016 Optima Hybrid, Sedona, 2015-2017 Soul EV, 2017 Forte, Forte Koup, Niro, and 2017 Optima Plus-In Hybrid will support CarPlay.
Mistubishi has its 2017 Outlander and Outlander PHEV. Suzuki enlists its 2016-2017 Hustler, Ignis, Lapin, Solio, Solio Bandit, Spacia, and Spacia Custom. Volkswagen’s 2016-2017 Beetel Cabriolet, Golf Cabriolet, Golf Sports Van, Golf Variant, Passat Variant, Touran, 2017 Atlas, CrossFox, Gol, Saveiro, and Voyage.
