BlackBerry has once again come up with a price cut this time for the Q5 QWERTY Smartphone. The price has been cut down by around Rs. 5,000 and is now available for Rs 19,990.
Speaking about the offer, there was a statement from the company saying that the offer was “in line with BlackBerry’s commitment towards the Indian market and will help the brand to reach out to more potential customers”. However, as a matter of fact, there are problems for the company in selling the newest Smartphones.
Sameer Bhatia, who is the Director Distribution for BlackBerry India, has said that the offer is aimed at bringing in the market a mobile device that is powerful and is equipped with the BlackBerry 10 OS platform that is made available to the consumers at affordable prices.
It is not the first time that BlackBerry has come up with a price cut. There have been reductions in prices of devices like the BlackBerry Z10, and the BlackBerry Q10 and Z10. There is no doubt that BlackBerry is trying hard to maintain itself in the tough competition in the Indian market.
There was also a free offer from BlackBerry as well as discounted apps for the devices like Z10 and Z30 apart from some other models that run on the BB10 OS platform.
