BlackBerry DTEK60 has made its latest entry in smartphone market earlier this week. Now available in the US, BlackBerry claims it can be DTEK60 vs Google Pixel and Apple iPhone 7.
The specs of DTEK60 have been recently spotted around the internet for the second time. After getting unveiled, the DTEK60 has set its name into the higher end smartphone segments with a label of $499.
Unlocking a number of remarkable features, the BlackBerry DTEK60 proves itself at par with the iPhone 7 Plus and Google Pixel XL. A video interview with company’s COO, Marty Beard has brought us some insights. He said that DTEK60 sporting a 5.5-inch screen could compete with other counterparts.
The smartphone is way cheaper than other phones possessing the similar specs. It is priced at $499 and features a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen. An SD 820 processor and a 4GB of RAM is extending the smoother functioning of the device.
According to Mr. Beard, BlackBerry is feeling proud of its latest offering, DTEK60. Furthermore, he claims a better battery life for DTEK60 when compared to iPhone 7 Plus. He says the device could last long for a day and a half after getting a full charge. Looks wise, DTEK60 is thinner than Apple and Googles’ latest offering. The software that involves integrated Android turns it to be an “incredibly secure phone”.
The phone seems to be a good option especially for them who wants to save $200. So rather than spending on the typical smartphones from Apple and Google, you can also give a try to this new member. But we have not yet performed a review for the DTEK60. So we will certainly wait for a detailed apprehension of the device, then we can comment on its credibility over Google or Apple’s device.
BlackBerry had earlier released Mercury with Android Nougat. But with DTEK60, it’s boasting a lot. If you are a BlackBerry device owner, do share your experience with the smart device you’re holding.
