Camera comparison between any two prominent flagships is always fun to watch. Here is a battle between the Samsung S9 Plus vs Google Pixel 2 XL. Watch the results.
Camera Comparison: S9 Plus vs Pixel 2 XL
Google launched the Pixel 2 XL on October 5 last year. At the present, the top two smartphones on the Android platform are the Samsung Galaxy S9+ and the Google Pixel 2 XL. Be it software or hardware, they are the best out there. But what actually makes them clash horns with each other are the fantastic camera capabilities that they have. Hence, they make up for the perfect camera comparison.
The Samsung S9 and S9+ debut in the market with the tagline, “The camera reimagined.” When you arrive with such a tagline, you definitely need to prove your worth. And Samsung seems to have done exactly that. Being the first smartphone camera with an adjustable aperture 9f/1.5-f/2.4), Samsung has truly fired all the shots.
But when compared to the Google Pixel camera, thoughts need to bring together. What other phones strive to do with two cameras, Google did effortlessly in just one. And the camera feature in the Google Pixel 2 is great too.
When both the cameras are compared together, the results are that the Galaxy S9+ shots are much sharper and clear, thus making it perfect for natural and outdoor shots. When compared to the photographs clicked by the Google Pixel 2, they too come out clear, but due to the heavy dependence on HDR, the pictures sometimes come out over processed. Although this is not frequent, it is still a thorn in the eye.
It can be plainly seen that the Samsung Galaxy S9+ and the Google Pixel 2 are truly great phones, with great specs and great cameras. Though the both of them provide flawless photographs, each excels in at least one thing than the other.
