The cheap Smartphone from Motorola, the Moto G will soon be available in the United States. The price of the Moto G may be $179. In India, the price of the Moto G may be fixed in the region of Rs. 11,000.
The above-mentioned price in India comes without contract and also depends on the schemes that are offered by the domestic companies.
However, one thing that needs to be mentioned about the phone is that the phone has seen a speedy production as well as a pretty cool price that certainly surprises everyone.
The Moto G is expected to start selling at least one month ahead of the schedule in the United States. The price tag of the Smartphone is the talk of the town and is seen to be competitively placed. The company has also said that they were able to manufacture the phones faster and wasn’t expected as such.
The launch of the Moto G was earlier planned to take place in the month of January. However, the schedule has been preponed and the phones will now be going on sales from Tuesday itself.
The price tag of $179 is pretty competitive considering the $600 or even more that people pay for high-end Smartphones without the conventional two-year contracts.
There looks to be a clear effort on the part of Motorola to offer such a device that is nearer to the ones that are presently available on the leading high-end Smartphones. However, it may not work as fast on the 4G LTE networks.
The upcoming version of the phone will work best with the GSM networks. That is the one type of network that is commonly followed the world over. However, that may not work with carriers like Sprint and Verizon that have the CDMA networks. Verizon has said that they will be offering the CDMA version in 2014. There is, however, no word from Sprint on their plans.
