A number of smartphones launch happens every year. We aren’t surprised if there are more on the list. Flagship launches in August are what we are looking forward to with Nokia and Samsung.

2017 can’t be ignored as there have been major launches by Blackberry and HTC. In comparison to other months of the year, the month of August looks a little on the dull side. Not many smartphones will make an entry but Nokia and Samsung are rumored to. Germany is going to host IFA, the highly acclaimed tech show in Berlin. This show will have a lot for the audience to learn about which phones to wait for this year. Before the event kick starts, there are two potential smartphone brands lining up for introducing their latest smartphones.

Nokia has been a trusted brand and everyone is keen on buying its new look Nokia smartphone. HMD Global is likely to announce the Nokia 8 flagship on the 16th of August. It will be announced as a part of a grand event. The rumor that makes the potential buyers wait is that the new launch will give big brands run for their money owing to its competitive features.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8

It’s true that Samsung has targeted the launch of its phablet every year just before the IFA event. It is the same this year too. The popular event of Samsung, Samsung Unpacked Event will take place on the 23rd of August. After the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 7, the company had to wait to compensate for the disaster the Galaxy Note 7 had created. The successor Samsung Galaxy Note 8 of which we had brought an official teaser, will be far from being any closer to the predecessor. Ups and downs do happen and so it’s vital to know what all is included in the roundup. What matters is the fan base Samsung has. They are eagerly waiting for the launch of the phablet.

Although a few smartphones, two being the major brands; The flagship launches in August 2017 look promising.
