Flappy Bird is back and how. The super addictive mobile game is supposedly back on the Amazon Fire TV, after it was taken down by its originator in the month of February this year.
Flappy Bird Back
The game is super ‘addictive’ and this was the reason why it was pulled down. However, the Flappy Bird Family was spotted in the Amazon App Store a couple of days back. This means the game is likely to be compatible with the portable Fire devices of Amazon.
However, the game is available to play through the set-top-box on Amazon Fire TV. This gives the advantage of doubling up as a gaming console as well.
You can read the description of the game that speaks:
Flappy Birds now are on Amazon Fire TV with incredible new features: Person vs Person mode, more obstacles, more fun and still very hard. Enjoy playing the game at home (not breaking your TV) with your family and friends.
Keeping His Word on the Release
It was the month of February when Flabby Bird was pulled down. However, it did not disappear into thin air. Actually, the creator of the game, Dong Nguyen had promised that the game will back very soon. It was in May that Dong had assured of bringing back a less addictive version of the game.
Dong Nguyen had also promised that there would be a multi-player feature in Flappy Bird that would once again start flapping in the month of August. However, the exact day and date of the Flappy Bird release are not revealed yet. But it looks like the promise would be met.
Flappy Bird on Other Platforms
There is no news or confirmation if Flappy Bird will be available on any other platform. The question is if the game will indeed be made accessible for other platforms. It is also not known if Amazon is going to pay the developer just to keep the game only on Fire TV.
The game has been too much addictive and that was the reason why it was supposedly taken off. The success of the game remains suspense for many experts as the graphics of the Flappy Bird are ‘crude’ and ‘copied artwork’.
