Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 Smartphone Revealed
Probably, the first release of the New Year was the Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 Smartphones. The devices were introduced at the CES 2015 in the last week. The USP of the gadgets is that it can run on multiple operating systems like Firefox, Windows and Android.
Four such devices were launched in the previous week with three different display sizes. The smallest display size was 3.5 inch screen followed by 4 inch screen. Next was the 4.5 inch screen, while the display with 5 inches was the largest one.
The company had also launched the OneTouch Watch – a wearable device.
Consumer Electronics Show 2015: A Curtain Raiser
The first mega event of the New Year 2015, the major attraction was the Consumer Electronics Show – the CES 2015. The Las Vegas show has every reason to be popular amongst the gadget lovers as many new products are all over the world are introduced here first.
In this article, we took a look at some products that were the star attractions. Driverless cars can be a strong possibility in the future and the CES saw Apple and Google introduce their technologies, CarPlay and Android Auto respectively.
Both these giants once again were mentioned as they are fighting to make your home a smarter home.
Sony Walkman NW-ZX2 Unveiled at the CES 2015
Out of the many products unveiled at the CES 2015 at Las Vegas, one of them was the Sony Walkman NW-ZX2. This does certainly remind one of the good old Walkman that once used to give entertainment and great company when on the go.
But yes, the new Sony Walkman is a tad costlier than the previous models. After all, the Walkman has been given a makeover. The device also promises good delivery with 60 hours of MP3 playback. There is in addition 33 hours of high resolution playback.

SnoopSnitch App to Identify Who’s Spying on You
One of our last week’s articles was devoted to security with the security app SnoopSnitch. The app helps in catching the IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) catchers. This can protect your phone from stealing your data and confidential information. It is a very key app these days for protecting your facts and figures in your device.
SnoopSnitch is really cooperative when it comes to detecting stingrays. Apart from this, the app notifies the users if their handsets are giving out any sort of info. However, there is a shortcoming in this app.
Though it works with Android phones, it supports only Qualcomm chips. Samsung and Sony devices do have Qualcomm chips. So, handsets from Sony and Samsung should work like a breeze with SnoopSnitch.
