GIF Images on WhatsApp

The latest in the world of mobile communication is GIF images on WhatsApp. There was a time when voice messages ruled the Internet for a quite a while. Then came the emoji. They too are now becoming ineffable. GIFs are now taking their place. These GIF are the most adored way of conversation on the Internet. As plain text is becoming boring day by day, GIFs are more conveying in many ways. GIFs are also considered the best way of expressing the thoughts across.

For these and many other reasons WhatsApp has decided to update the app for something better. In this new update, the GIFs that we paste in our conversation, will not only be displayed, but will also play automatically. It gives the GIF images on WhatsApp a big plus.

A Twitter account, which keeps an eye on all the changes of WhatsApp’s beta version, @WABetaInfo, has revealed this new feature. Accordingly, v2.16.7.1 of WhatsApp will hold this feature. This will help users to share the link in the conversations and even play it automatically. As a matter of fact, this feature will only work with GIF links. Using GIF images directly from the device may not play it. Fortunately GIF can be easily converted into simple images as GIF which does not animate seems great. This is really unfamiliar.

This doesn’t seem so good in comparison with the Gboard iOS keyboard, which permits us searching appropriate Giphy integration or a GIF. Thus, the users of WhatsApp will have to find the GIF, which we want outside of WhatsApp. And when he finds one he can surely add it within his WhatsApp conversation.

The expected date of update is still unknown but if beta update gives this feature, it will be here in no time. We are sure, working with GIF images on WhatsApp will be real fun.
