The roll out will start today – September 18. However, it will be only for the latest models. This includes the iPad 2, iPhone 4 apart from the latest edition of iPod. The models that are launched latest – the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will also get the new iOS 7 a couple of days later, on September 20.
The latest OS will be ushering in a big change for the company as well. The icons will be flat, colorful and look comfortable to the eyes. A layered design will add more visual value to the device.
The control center will be a feature to look forward to. It can be accessed if you swipe from the bottom of the screen upwards. This feature was a pretty much-needed one. Apple will be bringing in sliders for adjusting brightness and volume apart from basic audio controls and easily accessing the camera.
Photos and Photo Albums
Users with the latest version of the iOS will be able to capture photos that imitate pretty much the Instagram method, where there are already filters built. It also offers a square-format with rounded corners.
Moments, Collections and Years are some of the other changes included in the Photo app. There are auto grouping of the photos, which will create the albums that are matching. There is HD video recording in the 5S at 120 fps (frames per second).
Safari may not be a darling on laptops and desktops in the market, but when it comes to mobile browsing, it is easily one of the best around. It has also got its share of the visual update. There are fresh and modest icons for navigating. However, changes have also been made when it comes to managing bookmarks and tabs.
