Google Duo 2 is getting updated by end of this week with an option of bug fixes. What’s new in this new update? Read on to know more about what’s new here.

Google Duo 2

Google Duo 2 will be the second version of the Google Duo app. For those who do not know, in the Annual Developer Conference i.e. Google I/O held this year, the company had introduced two new communication apps for its customers. The one named Duo and the other named Allo. The one-to-one video calling app, Duo has been launched and everyone is now eagerly waiting for the official release of Allo. Currently, Google is planning to work on the first update of the Duo app.

Rumors had it that Allo was about to get launched by this Wednesday i.e. 21st of September and be available at the Play Store. Justin Uberti, one of the In-charge of Duo and Allo apps invalidated all the rumors and provided its fan with the latest news in regard with the Duo app.

The hype for Allo among the fans that are patiently waiting is known to Uberti. This is the reason he initiated his tweet referring “the release you’ve all been waiting for” but shifted to the other app Duo 2 stating it to be a real thing. Following it, he specified “rolling out this week”. For now, it only mentions about “bug fixes”. In case you want to try this, APK mirror has the file.

Duo getting updated and “coming soon” caption attached to it does not entirely mean that we will have to wait a bit longer for the Allo app to get launched. It might get released by the end of this week. Just wait and watch!
