Sunder Pichai, the Google CEO, finally announced on May 17th for Google I/O 2017. In a recent announcement, he spread his word for new things to be revealed in this year’s I/O 2017.

What is Google I/O 2017?
Google I/O is a festival held by Google every year where the company updates all the technical freaks and developers about new things coming in the market. Google I/O 2017 planned that on May 17th Google will unveil about the latest innovations and explain the developers their work on innovations. In this festival, techies are informed about the upcoming products, their features, usage, and launch. Google I/O 2017 is going to be held at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View from May 17th to May 19th.
Google I/O Live Streaming
From last year, Google has started to opt for live streaming of the event. Google I/O 2016 experienced live streaming of the main event and the same is expected for this year Fest. Project Treble is the new venture of Google where the software will allow third party manufacturers to roll out updates without any hassle.

After successfully launching android OS in the market, the company is all set to bring something new for the users. The company is vigorously working on Fuchsia OS, a brand new OS where the apps will be visible in the scrolling list.

Google I/O 2017 is inaugurating the day with the special launch of Android Auto in the market. After pioneering in the gadget industry, Google is walking towards vehicles’ department. With Android Auto, the company is bringing a complete in-dash system for multiple vehicles without the support of smartphones. Android Auto will be working as a standalone app; all a person needs is to connect the app with the infotainment system and it is ready for use in multiple vehicles. As of now, Swedish and Jerman car manufacturers, Audi and Volvo are supporting Android Auto which will allow the drivers to directly use Google Assistant and Maps without Smartphones.

After successfully launching Google Cardboard in Google I/O 2016, the company is set to bring a new platform and a VR Headset having DayDream version. The company and other manufacturers are working towards enabling Google DayDream and taking a step ahead towards success. Google DayDream is a power packed VR Headset giving an amazing experience to the users and giving a tough competition to Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Claude Zellweger, who was an HTC designer, recently joined Google and claimed that HTC Vive and HTC 10 were designed by him. Google Assistant: The Most Powerful AI Assistant
At last year’s event, after inaugurating Pixel Lineup, Google CEO explained the importance of artificial intelligence and machine learning. He promised the users to launch the most powerful AI assistant and this year Google Assistant is coming in the markets. Google Assistant is the powerful tool having a large number of apps including Allo. Google I/O 2017 is scheduled with two sessions for Google Assistant where the Keynote speakers will explain about Google Assistant in one session. The other session will explain about building apps and bringing Google Assistant on any device.

Allo is a messenger app introduced by the company in the last year’s Google I/O. The app is having a chat bot which makes smart replies and sends them automatically to the users. In this year Google I/O the company is planning to bring new features in Allo chat app or giving full access to the app to Google assistant for better results. Apart from Allo chat app, Google is bringing new updates for Google Duo, a video calling app for Android and iOS users.
VR Reality and Project Tango
With DayDream platform, Google is entering the VR reality giving a tough competition to the industry. But, the company is not ready to stop and is making the world 3D with augmented reality arena. Project Tango tech is a new project launched by the company for depth-sensing and motion tracking in an augmented 3D world. In Google I/O 2017, the company is ready to bring a V2.3 update for the Google Home app in the market for customers in US and UK. The app will be assisting in various daily routine tasks supporting cloudcast and third party speakers.
