The Honor 8 Pro launched in India today at a price of INR 29,999. The company has announced the launch of its 6GB RAM model for the Indian customers who were awaiting the launch eagerly. In October last year, Huawei had unveiled the Honor 8 apart from the Honor 8 Smart and Holly 3.
The USP of the phone is the powerful 6GB RAM. It comes with a 5.7-inch screen with quad HD display, the resolution of which stands at 1440 x 2560 pixels. Apart from the powerful RAM, another great feature is the native storage of 128GB.
You will find some more exciting features in this latest smartphone from Huawei. As far as the camera setup is concerned, it has 12MP dual rear cameras. And what’s more, it comes with dual-tone LED flash too. So, you will never have problems with the camera of the Honor 8 Pro. The selfie camera too won’t disappoint you as it comes with 8MP lens with f/2.2 aperture.
Honor 8 Pro launched with the powerful octa-core Kirin 960 processor, that’s supported by 2.4GHz processing speed. Android Nougat runs the Honor 8 Pro, which has EMUI 5.0 on top of it. The native storage is 64GB and is expandable.
The Honor 8 Pro comes with dual SIM cards and also extends support to 4G VoLTE. As you can see in the image above, the fingerprint scanner is to the back of the device. The dual camera setup is placed horizontally.
Availability and Price
For purchasing, the Honor 8 will be available from next Monday – July 10. You will be able to buy the smartphone from Amazon India exclusively from 1800 hours. However, the open sale gets underway three days later, on July 13th. And don’t forget Vodafone customers are slated to get 45GB of data for free. As for the price, it’s already mentioned at INR 29,999.
