HTC Desire 10 Lineup: No US and Canada Launch

HTC Desire 10 lineup that includes the HTC Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle, are all set to launch in the UK and other European countries. However, it will not make an entry on the US and Canadian markets.

Recently, at the ‘Be Edgier’ event, HTC announced the arrival of two new phones as a part of the HTC Desire 10 lineup. The new additions include, HTC Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle. This announcement has set the markets ablaze. UK and other European countries are excited about this news, as they are the first ones to get hold of these stylish new additions. But unfortunately, US and Canada will not be able to celebrate the news, as the HTC Desire 10 lineup might not make an entry into these markets, anytime soon.

One of the HTC officials said that “the Desire 10 announcement is currently focused on the global markets outside of US and Canada”. So, it is pretty evident that HTC Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle will not hit the American and Canadian markets. It means that they won’t be able to purchase the phones through any official means; they might have to find other ways in order to do that.

If Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle get a positive feedback from customers in the UK and European countries, then there is still a possibility that HTC decides to launch them in US and Canada. But one cannot say this will work entirely, as it is a belief that HTC does not consider itself ‘technologically ready’ to introduce these smartphones in these countries.

If sometime in the future, HTC does decide to change its mind, there are chances that North America might get to have access to the exquisite HTC Desire 10 lineup. Till then, US and Canada will have to wait patiently for some miracle to happen, or come up with strategies to change HTC’s mind completely!
