The tablets will be available in two different sizes 7 inches and 12 inches, thus the name RT7 and RT12 respectively. Reports say that HTC has delved into the tablet arena for the long haul and is trying to give its users a taste of richness and speed that they will never forget. Thus, comes the generous use of the latest software and programs.
RT7
The screen is endowed with full-HD technology that is supported by a Snapdragon 800 processor and 2.3GHz Quadcore processor from the makers of Qualcomm. Memory seems to be the least troubling factor when you know you have 2GB to support you through. Apart from that there will be 16 GB of available internal memory and a card slot.
One of the star features is the 13MP camera which comes with autofocus options. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, HSPA+/LTE and A-GPS are some of the other common features. Non-availability of HDMI, NFC or DLNA is a downside that might hurt the potential customers up to a certain extent.
RT12
The 12 inch tablet is moreover the same as its 7inch mate but this comes with a mega display of 2048 X 1536 display, which is amazing. However, if you try to run any high performance games or apps, may not run smoothly. As far as running other simple programs is concerned, the Snapdragon 800 is a breeze. There isn’t any news on what battery powers these devices. For some reasons, it is still a secret.
The makers have just given its users a peek of the gadgets and are yet to announce the price tag. As far as the launch is concerned, mid October may be the probable launch date.
