Instagram has come up with a newer and a visibly richer logo. And here’s the Instagram new logo below. The redesigned logo is public. First of all, look at the logo tells you that it sports the same fonts as those seen on the Coca-Cola bottles. So has Instagram taken inspiration from Coca-Cola? And also the new design reminds one of the Facebook’s blue color shade.

It has been just a couple of years since Instagram came into being and since then it is also the first major change in the company’s identity. Mackey Saturday is a typographer from Denver, who has designed this font and the design. As a matter of fact, Mackey Saturday, who also happens to be a friend of Kevin Systrom, the Instagram co-founder has put in a lot of efforts. It is being said that Mackey also had put in a year’s efforts to design the final layout.
The entire design had been done manually by Mackey Saturday. He did everything with mere hands from scratch. The superb finishing has given the new logo a stylish look. The new tagging feature is brought out by Instagram for iOS and also for Android app. It is christened “Photos of You”. With this feature, adding the names to faces.
