Intex Technologies will soon be launching a Smartphone that will be powered by a MediaTek octa-core chip.
The technology being used in the phone is making merry in the market as there are many other fans of this in the market. Sometime back even Samsung had launched the S4 with the 1.6GHz octa-core model.
With Intex Technologies making a serious bid to launch their device with this chipset, this will be the first company from India to make available this technology. This means the Indian handset manufacturers aren’t letting their bigger multinational counterparts have it easy.
However, as compared to the Samsung’s S4, the Intex device will be pretty much affordable. Apart from the octa-core chipset, Intex will be building the phone with the Android 4.2.2 version. The phone will have dual-SIM options.
The phone will come bundled with 2GB RAM and 13MP rear camera. There will be two variants of the phone – the 16GB variant and the 32GB variant. Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, who is the Business Head-Mobile, Intex Technologies, has said that their company wants to be one of the top Smartphone players in the business.
The wish to be one of the best has brought out the best out of the company. The statement further said that they will be bringing out amazing products and newer technologies.
As far as octa-core processors are concerned, there aren’t enough apps written that will support the processor, at least the number is pretty much negligible as of now. However, as the popularity of these processors increase, those apps will also grow in number.
