There were some important announcements made by Apple at the WWDC 17, some of which include the availability of iOS developer preview for all the Apple devices including iOS 11, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, watchOS 4 and TV OS 11.
iOS developer preview
The iOS developer preview will be coming later this week. However, the beta version of all the updates is available as of now. In its previous iOS 10 Jailbreak update, Apple ensured to prevent the software from hackers.
Proceed with caution with the beta develops
One should always proceed with caution with all the first betas. The new iOS developer preview has not been made available to the public beta program yet. Although Apple is planning to bring it later this month. If you are using the beta develops, there might be risk of crashing. Many third party apps are reported to crashing including Kindle, Amazon video, DirecTV, Pinterest, Skype, Facebook Messenger, Tencent Video, and Mobilelron. It is also considered very risky to migrate from an Android phone.
Not only the four betas were previewed at the iOS developer preview today, but Apple also seeded X code 9 beta which supports the new API’s that are included in the new operating systems. Apple also unveiled Swift Playgrounds 2, Classroom 2.1, Apple configurator 2.5 and macOS server 5.4.
