The iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display will be available in India from December 7. The launch date has been confirmed by Ingram Micro, who is the authorized distribution partner of Apple.
There are three versions of the iPad Air Wi-Fi mode. They are 32GB, 64GB and 128GB respectively. The 32GB version costs Rs. 42,900 and the 64GB costs 49,900. The 128GB version is the costliest with a price tag of Rs. 56,900.
There are other variants of the device – the iPad Air with 16GB capacity. The device with cellular connectivity costs Rs. 44,900. The 32GB variant costs Rs. 51,900, the 64GB version comes at a cost of Rs. 58,900, while the 128GB model carries the highest price tag of Rs. 65,900.
Likewise, there are also three versions of the iPad mini with Retina display Wi-Fi only – the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. The prices of these devices are Rs. 35,900, Rs. 42,900 and Rs. 49,900 respectively.
There are also devices with cellular connectivity options. The 16GB iPad mini with Retina display comes at a price at Rs. 37,900. The 32GB costs Rs. 44,900, the 64GB version costs Rs. 51,900 and the highest of them – the 128GB model is priced at Rs. 58,900.
Apple will carry on the sales of the 16GB iPad mini without Retina display for a price tag of Rs. 21,900. This price is of the Wi-Fi variant. But the cellular connectivity model might experience a price hike of Rs. 1,000 – From Rs. 29,900 to Rs. 30,900. The sales of the iPad 16GB will be for Rs. 28,900 for the Wi-Fi version while for the iPad 2, the same will be for Rs. 37,900 for cellular version.
