In 2016, Apple redesigned and modernised many of its products including the iPhone 7‘s, the Apple Pen, the Apple Watch, and AirPods. This year, 2017 could see the launch of a new product; the iPad Pro 2.
According to the Apple iPad Pro 2 Concept Video, it will have a 10.5-inch display. Its design is reportedly inspired by the iPhone 7 Plus. Reports also say that Apple will launch three new and improved iPads very soon. The iPad Pro 2 will run on an AX10 Chip, as reported by TechTimes. It will also have an onboard RAM of 4GB and 6GB which will definitely be an improvement on last year’s 12.9 inch iPad Pro model. Apple iPad Pro 2 specs also reveal that it will have a dual camera at the back of the device and it will have a 12-megapixel sensor and will be able to record 4K videos. It is evident from the Apple iPad Pro 2 concept video that the design is strikingly similar to the iPhone 7 Plus. The iPad Pro 2 comes in many colours; its own wine and white and the iPhone 7 Plus’s black, gold, jet black and rose gold.
In fact, an update is also expected to the Apple Pencil which is an iPad accessory. It will now have a magnetic strip with which to attach it to the iPad. A new eraser in the form of a sensor is also one of the Apple iPad Pro 2 specs. The last update could be either built into it or come as an attachment.
According to Wei Feng, a Chinese language site, the iPad Pro 2 could make its first appearance in the market on March 19, 2017. According to a source, both the iPad Pro 2 and the Apple Pen 2 could be launched together. Although there has been no information from Apple to validate these speculations, it is widely believed that this could well be the case. It remains to be seen how well the new updates are received.
