iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C in Indian ‘grey’ market costs Rs 64000, Rs 49000

The iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C are already in the Indian ‘grey’ market. However, the iPhone 5S price in India is Rs. 64000 for the 16GB version, while the iPhone 5C price is India is Rs. 49000. Though the availability of the phones is the upside, they currently cost a tad too much and virtually out of reach for many Indian customers.

There is no doubt that the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C is a craze all over and the bug has beaten India as well. The phones have been grabbing the eyeballs for quite a few days now. Though the stockholder of Apple and the company itself are basking in the glory of the success, Indian consumers have lost their smiles.

With such humongous prices, the gadgets certainly don’t look for the masses, as it was being spoken of earlier. The prices were said to be ‘affordable’, but looking at the grey market price tags, many Apple enthusiasts will have to wait until the craze of the phone dies down so that they come within their reach.

The reason for the phones to be so costly is that the two phones haven’t still been officially launched in India. As a matter of fact, they will be available until Deewali. However, the grey market in India is already charging Rs 64000, and Rs 49000 for the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.
