LeEco Le Pro 3 Teardown
Since their entry into the mobile phone business in April last year, the China-based smartphone manufacturer, LeEco had only produced only a few devices till now. Yesterday, it released its most powerful device, the Le Pro 3. And it had been less than 24 hours since its introduction, that this power-packed device had to undergo the very first teardown test. IT168, the Chinese site which usually dismantles any Chinese device first, took it upon themselves to conduct a LeEco Le Pro 3 teardown test. What was the result of this test, let’s find out!
LeEco’s Le Pro 3 looked all classy and stylish, given its sleek and all-metal body. Even though its endowed with SD821 SoC, 6GB of RAM and seems reasonably affordable, it raised certain questions in the minds of its customers: What if it breaks or needs opening up? How long can the repair process take? IT168 answered these questions successfully when it conducted the LeEco Le Pro 3 teardown test. As it turned out, LeEco had put a lot of effort and thinking in the manufacture of this model, as its repair process was a fairly easy task.
Not only did the people at IT168 manage to open up the phone and dismantle it; they were able to conduct the test without any major issues. With its strong metallic body and easy-to-handle features, LeEco Le Pro 3 proved its mettle and achieved victory in the teardown test. (Way to go LeEco!)
Having passed the test successfully, one can say that LeEco is all set to conquer the market with its Le Pro 3 phones. The LeEco Max2 was launched in India last June, which is the descendant of the Le Max. In between, LeEco is really ready to set the market ablaze by bringing in an SD823-powered smartphone.
Coming back to the LeEco Le Pro 3 teardown, you may find them available in two variants in the market- the 4GB RAM variant with 32GB of internal storage, and the 6GB RAM model with 64GB of internal storage. Both of them have a 5.5 inch full HD display and come with the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core SoC and Adreno 530 GPU.
Their 4,070mAh battery supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been pre-installed on these devices, along with the company’s EUI 5.8, and a high-quality 16-megapixel shooter has been placed on the back of the phone.
