Lenovo Miix 630, featured with Snapdragon 835 and 8 GB RAM finally formally announced at CES.

Lenovo has officially announced its new 2-in-1 laptop Lenovo Miix 630 and the ThinkPad X1 series at CES 2018. Miix 630 features Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and has 8 GB RAM. It has a detachable keyboard. It is known to give a battery backup up to 20 hours. Look wise; it is similar to the Lenovo Surface Pro.
While Lenovo provided high-end chipset for smartphones last year, this year it will power up the launch of laptops. Moreover, it says that they will be working on slimmer laptops enhancing their battery life. Experiences and research show that the snapdragon driven devices have a better battery life compared to Intel, or AMD powered machines. The base variant will be available on the market at $800.
Features of Lenovo Miix 630
The laptop has a display of 12.3 inches with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels. Holding the Snapdragon processor, the laptop will be available in variants of 4 GB RAM and 8 GB RAM. The laptops will further have storage capacities of 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. The GPU installed is Adreno 540. It has a MicroSD card slot. Something that’s amazing about the laptop is the presence of both rear camera and front camera of 13 MP and 5 MP respectively. The laptop weighs 2.93 pounds. Its dimensions are 11.5 x 8.5 x 0.6 inches. Alike the other Qualcomm equipped laptops, Miix 630 has a Windows 10 S pre-installed. It further has an option to get windows 10 pro.
The company has said that it will offer 180-day free trial to help you realize if you want to retain the primary version or if you want to switch to its Pro version.
It is still not known how the Lenovo fans and customers would react to the product. The audience is expecting the laptop to be revealed soon in the market.
