Lenovo has launched the phablet-cum-smartphone tablet in India, known as the hybrid device. The price of Lenovo phab for the Indian market is Rs. 11,999. And this is the lite model of its Phab Plus device. This was also launched for the Indian market for a price of Rs. 20,990 in October 2015. The smartphone is exclusive to the e-com store Flipkart.
This device in question was unveiled at IFA 2015. On the other hand, the higher-spec device surfaced just a few days earlier in China.
The Lenovo phab 6.98 is a dual SIM device with Micro-SIM + Micro-SIM. As per the Lenovo Phab 6.98 spec, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, as the title suggests, it will have a 6.98-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The smartphone has a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor (64-bit). The processor is accompanied by 2GB RAM. Inbuilt storage is 16GB and with a microSD card, can be expanded up to 64GB.
Just note one thing that the model that was introduced in 2015, came in 1GB RAM.
As per the Lenovo Phab 6.98 spec, there will be a 13MP primary camera with autofocus and flash. The secondary camera will be a 5MP snapper. Lenovo Phab 6.98 has a 4G LTE support for the Indian market and also brings in Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB connectivity and 3.5mm radio jack.
The device comes with 4,250mAh battery and can offer talk time of nearly one full day and a standby duration of 20 days. Dolby Atmos audio technology will also be a part of the new Lenovo phablet.
As of now, the Lenovo phab 6.98 is listed only in Tuxedo Black color. However, when launched internationally, it came in Cherry Red, Aqua Blue and Polar White colors as well.
