LG G4 Review: Powerful Battery and Latest OS Grace the G4

LG G4 Review

The competition to dish out the best has always prompted to create the best. If on one hand there are Samsung’s flagship models like Galaxy S6 Edge and S6 that come in metal and glass, LG isn’t one to be left behind.

LG has actually come out with handcraft leather as they unveiled their latest flagship G4 Smartphone. The device was unveiled in Paris, Singapore, Seoul, Istanbul and New York.

Juno Cho is the CEO and president of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. Speaking about the device, the CEO said that they wished to make available to the consumers a device that would be human-centric. The phone has been termed as an ambitious phone by LG.


The display of the LG G4 is 5.5-inches. It is an IPS Quantum Display that has a resolution of 1440 X 2560 pixels. The pixel per inches (PPI) is 538. And for the screen protection there is Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

According to the LG G4 review, there is 1.8 GHz hexa-core Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 CPU accompanied by the Adreno 418 GPU. A powerful 3GB of RAM is integrated in the device that promises hiccup-free processing.



There is a huge 32GB of internal storing capacity in the LG G4. And to add to it, there is space for four times more. In all, the storage can be expanded up to 128GB. That is indeed huge space no matter your videos or images in the gallery.

OS & Battery

The operating system in the LG flagship device is the latest 5.1 Lollipop version.

There is a mammoth 3000mAh battery in the LG G4. So, it can deliver extra long backup as well. It’s a removable battery.


The LG G4 device has two cameras. The rear camera comes with 16MP shooter, while the front camera is 8MP. The rear camera has dual-LED flash. There is a wide f1.8 aperture. This makes it possible for more light – up to 80% – for reaching the sensor.

Dimensions & Weight

The dimensions of the LG G4 are 148.9 x 76.1 x 6.3 – 9.8mm. This can give you the idea of how slim the phone is.

The slim phone allows the weight to be drastically reduced to only 155g.

Available Colors

In “Ceramic” there are colors like ceramic white, metallic gray and shiny gold.

As far as the “Genuine Leather” is concerned the color options are brown, black, sky blue, beige, yellow and red.
