LG G5 Phone

The LG G5 phone is finally ready for the Indian consumers. The phone is tagged as the first modular phone in India. No wonder, the LG G5 price is on a costlier side making you shell out INR 52,990. As for the preorder of the LG G5 phone, the device was made available for pre-ordering from 21 last month to May 30. You will be able to own the device, which is exclusively available on Flipkart.

Modular Type Design

LG Electronics released the phone in the modular type, which is the first of its kind in India. The modular design comes in handy for the add-on camera along with a slide-out battery. The LG G5 phone is powered by the powerful SD820 and supports Always-On display. Here’s a tiny LG G5 review for you.

The CAM Plus has been brought by LG like a camera module, which you can fix via the battery slot. With this, you can alter your LG G5 smartphone to your digital camera. It comes with its own buttons for record, shutter, zoom, the phone’s LED indicator, and of course, the power. Another advantage of the CAM Plus is that it adds an extra 1200mAh battery power. So, you can use the device longer and better.

With Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 having dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo CPU, the LG G5 phone dishes out super performance. The processor is accompanied by an equally powerful 4GB of RAM. All this adds to the phone’s smooth functioning and hiccup-free multi-tasking.

Battery & OS

The LG G5 smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 and is backed up by a 2800mAh removable Li-Ion battery. On 3G, the estimated standby time is up to 400 hours. For talk time backup, it is 20 hours on 3G. You can get the device in four available colors, namely – Silver, Titan, Gold and Pink.

The G5 camera is an excellent piece to capture your cool moments. The 16MP rear camera is able to shoot at 780 wide-angle. Wide-angle images easily make the images stand out. Here are a few sample images clicked through the G5 back camera.

The Final Word

With or without the modules, the G5 still happens to be a great device and does justice to the price it commands. Just remember, though, this isn’t the entire LG G5 review. What would you do? Buy that device for a price in excess of INR 50,000? Let’s know through your comments below.
