Twitter Response Reveals No Season Pass
The news was revealed by BioWare over the weekend as a response to a Twitter fan. The general manager of BioWareAaryn Flynn when posed with a Twitter question on Mass Effect: Andromeda will be featuring a season pass, responded by simply saying a “Nope”.
EA Doesn’t Generally Offer Season Pass ForMass Effect DLCs
The news has indeed not come out as a total surprise. This is because even in the past when the gaming studio delivered various memorable expansions for the downloadable content of the Mass Effect games, like the Lair of the Shadow Broker in Mass Effect 2, and any of the previous three titles, the game publisher Electronic Arts did not release the games featuring a season pass. Rather, the company offered a mix of free and paid DLC add-ons that came either as a part of the game itself or as a separate download.
Upon looking at the long list of content that BioWare delivered for the Mass Effect: Andromeda Trilogy players can easily identify that EA games for once included an Online Pass for Mass Effect 3, however only for the co-op multiplayer mode of the game.
Will Andromeda Have Multi-Player Add-ons?
Flynn even said that BioWare is planning to bring multiplayer add-ons for DLC for Andromeda in the follow-up tweets. However, there has not been any further information from BioWare yet in this regard.Flynn, however, did not answer any further questions on the game. Mass Effect: Andromeda is slated for release on March 21. It will be available on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
