Chinese giant Meizu has officially made the Meizu 15 announcement. The phone has a slew of new features and also some neat upgrades too.From the screen to the camera, here is everything you need to know about the Meizu 15.

The Meizu 15 announcement has taken everyone by the storm. The series is considered to be the new flagships of the company. The Meizu 15 and 15 Pro have a ton of new features that even other major flagships fail to have. The screen, to start of with. The Meizu 15 series, including the Meizu 15 Pro have retained the 16:9 aspect ratio, and have also manages to slim the bezels on the sides. The series also sports the notch design that has been borrowed from the Apple X.

The Meizu 15 series consists of 3 phones. The Meizu 15, Meizu 15 Pro and the Meizu 15 Lite which is the lite version of the phone. Though all the phones have some neat features, the Meizu 15 Pro is the elder brother among them. The Pro version of the phone sports a 5.95 inch super AMOLED display with a Quad HD+ screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.

But the phone is not just about looks though. The Meizu Pro is equipped with a ton of horsepower. The Octa-core chipset is accompanied with 6GB RAM while the base variant of the phone has a 64GB storage, and the more pro version has 128GB of storage.

The phone excels when coming to the camera. The Meizu 15 Pro has dual sensors on the back, the primary snapper being a 12MP while the second one being 20MP. The secondary sensor also serves as a telephoto sensor. The phone has a 20MP front facing camera too.

Battery & Other Specs

When coming to the battery, the phone has a 3,500mAh battery that is of a reasonable juice. The phone is run on a Flyme 7 OS UI. The Pro version of the phone is available in Gold and Black, and also has a price tag of $475 which when translated to rupees is INR 31,570.

The standard version called just the Meizu 15 sports a 5.46-inch screen with a full HD 1080 x 1920 pixels. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC and is coupled with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Though the cameras on the standard version lack optical image stabilization, they are the same as the Pro version. The device is priced at $397, which is INR 26,374. The device is available in Gold, Blue, Black and also White.

The pocket-friendly Lite version of the series, the Meizu 15 Lite features a 5.46-inch screen but will be having an LCD screen other than the AMOLED which it’s big brothers have. Powered by 4GB of RAM and a built-in storage of 64GB, the device can run reasonably heavy apps. The phone has a decent camera of 12MP and a front-facing 20MP camera. The Lite version has a good 3,000mAh battery and is also coupled with fast charging.
