Micromax has launched yet another Smartphone – the quad-core A110Q Canvas 2 Plus for Rs 12,100. The phone runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean – just a dowel down the latest edition of the OS.
The Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Plus is a disappointment when it comes to the display. The resolution especially does not stimulate the interest as much as it should have. The 5” display comes with 854 X 480 resolution. This could have ideally been better off with the 720p resolution.
The A110Q runs on a 1.2GHZ quad-core processor, which is suggested by the “Q” in “A110Q”. Micromax has used the MediaTek’s MT6589 chipset on yet another occasion. The phone is built with 1GB RAM. The built-in storage is 4GB, but as usual, the MicroSD card comes in handy when it comes to increasing the memory, which can be expanded up to 8 times more.
The phone does look slim. However, the design does not really click and does not sound interesting either.
Given the price tag of the Canvas 2 Plus, Micromax could have easily delivered something better.
The Smartphone has an 8MP rear camera, which looks good with the dual LED flash. The camera to the front is of 2MP capacity. There is the 2000 mAh battery for the Canvas. As there isn’t heavy display or resolution, the 2000 mAh battery should work fine with considerable backup.
And finally, the phone comes with a built-in M! Live app, which will allow you to download the unlimited number of songs.
