Micromax launches Canvas Doodle 2 – its most expensive phone

Micromax has launched the Canvas Doodle 2, which is being tagged as its most expensive phone. The price of Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 is Rs. 19,900 in the online store. The phone is also being reported to be the biggest phone of the Indian manufacturer till date. The phone has a 5.7-inch screen.

Even the Samsung Galaxy Note III also comes with a 5.7-inch display like the Micromax Canvas Doodle 2. Snapdeal, the online retailer is offering the phone at the above-mentioned price, makes it the most expensive phone from Micromax until now.

The note about the phone mentions that the device will be sent in five days. However, the phone isn’t listed on the website of the company as of now. There were teasers of the phone on the company’s Facebook page. The tagline of the ad read, “Can your imagination get bigger?”Micromax The resolution of the Canvas Doodle 2 is 1280 X 720p. This is the same as the two other phones of the company, the Micromax Canvas 4 and Micromax Canvas HD. A 1.2GHz processor powers the phone. There is 1GB of RAM and the user gets an internal memory of 12GB. The OS in the gadget is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The phone is built with the ‘Blow to Unlock’ from Micromax.

There is the 12MP camera to the back that comes with dual-LED flash. The front camera is of 5MP capacity. The device is powered by a 2600mAh battery. On a 2G network, the phone can provide a talk time of around 8 hours.

The Indian manufacturer has said that they will be launching 30 Smartphones in 2013. Until now, Micromax has launched A115 Canvas – the 3D phone, A110Q Canvas 2 Plus and Micromax Canvas 4 earlier this year.
