Micromax launches Canvas XL phablet at Rs 13,990

Micromax launched the Canvas XL phablet for the Indian market. The price of the Micromax Canvas XL phablet in India is Rs 13,990. The device will be available from January 19 onwards.

The Micromax phablet comes with 6-inch large display and has a resolution of 960 X 540. The gadget will be available through the Homeshop 18, which is a TV channel as well as a web site. To boost the sales of the phablet, there will be freebies as well as gifts worth at least Rs. 6,498.

The gadget is a dual-SIM phablet and has dual standby mode. 1.3GHz quad-core processor (of unspecified chipset) and 1GB of RAM powers the device. There are two cameras in the phablet. The rear camera is of 8MP, while the front camera is a 5MP shooter.Micromax Canvas XL

The OS in the phablet is the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Apart from that there are some apps from Micromax those will also be seen in the device. The phablet does offer 3G connectivity. However, it is still unclear whether the feature is available on both SIM cards or not. The battery in the gadget is of 2450mAh.

As far as the memory is concerned, there is 4GB of internal memory, which is mostly seen in a budget phone. The memory can be increased up to 32GB with the help of a MicroSD card. GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are the connectivity options in the phablet.
