Micromax to start business in Russia: To sell tabs and phones

Micromax is certain of expanding their business. The same looks to happen in Russia where Micromax will be selling tabs and phones in the country. The move comes after Micromax’s thinking strategy to expand their business in more countries slowly but certainly.

The Indian company was thinking of having more markets gradually and was looking to expand for quite some time now. However, the New Year and the first, especially looks to be the right time for them.

The news was broken by Rahul Sharma, who is the co-founder of Micromax, at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas. It was reported that Micromax will start selling devices in Russia from January 24. It looks like the date has now also been fixed.

“Yes, we have global ambitions and I can promise you that we are going to take Russia by storm. We are going to show that an Indian company can also succeed on the global scale,” these were the words of Mr. Rahul Sharma.

The CES is one of its kind shows and is considered to be the largest on the planet. And this is probably the first time that an Indian company has displayed its products at such a big level and has got such a big platform. This will help in boosting the company’s sales.

Micromax will be introducing a brand new tablet at CEs for the first time. The tablet is known as LapTab and is a hybrid dual-OS gadget. This is a device that is capable of running on both the Windows OS as well as the Android OS. The company has already unveiled the tablet and the device will be will be available for the consumers in the month of February.
