Mobile Battery Charging Time: Mobile Charging in Minutes

The mobile battery charging time is an issue that almost all mobile manufacturers are handling. No one has time to wait and wants an instantly (re)charged phone in minutes.

Mobile Battery Charging Time

Apart from that, there’s so much to do on mobile phones these days that mobile batteries drain just like this. Apps like WhatsApp, Line and others are popular and are nothing less than a menace among the young generation. Sharing videos, chatting online and carrying out many other social activities add to the battery draining.

WhatsApp, one of the most popular apps these days had introduced voice calling, which added more active users

Moreover, these days mobile use is highly on the rise. Hundreds of thousands of apps are at our service at the click of a button. This all adds up to mobile battery charging time. No wonder, companies are battling it out to offer fast charging mobile devices.

Here, we take a look at some top Smartphones that charge superfast. And the best thing is that they aren’t too tough on your pocket too.

The Smartphones listed below aren’t in specific order of mobile battery charging time.

Samsung Galaxy S6

When the mobile battery charging time for the Samsung Galaxy S6 was tested, it showed pretty impressive results. In five minutes flat, the Samsung device charged around 11% – the same as LG G4 and Motorola Droid Turbo. The Asus Zenfone 2 was the leader in this time frame with a charge of 17%, while Apple iPhone 6 managed to get a charging of just 6%.

In a 15-minute charge, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is charged a tad more than 25%. In half an hour’s time, the charge is doubled to about 53%. If the mobile battery charging time is slightly more than 45 minutes, the Samsung device gets an easy charge of 80%.

Asus Zenfone 2

Another leader in the faster mobile battery charging is the Asus Zenfone 2. In five minutes flat, the device charges up to 17% – probably the best in the business so far. If charged for around 15 minutes, the Asus device can be charged more than 30% – 32% to be specific.

However, the charge slows down even if the mobile battery charging time increases. It shows from the fact that in 30 minutes it should charge to about 64%, but is charged to only 53%. And for a full battery charge, it takes 109 minutes – 1 hour and 49 minutes. This is the same that Google Nexus 6 also consumes for a full charge.

OnePlus 2

Another cool gadget in the fast charging category is OnePlus 2. It gets the same amount of charging as does Google Nexus 6 – 12% – in five minutes of mobile battery charging time. But the promise it shows in fast charging dies down too early as it charges to only about 20% in 15 minutes.

If the charging time is doubled from 15 minutes to 30 minutes, OnePlus 2 manages to charge itself up to 34% – the lowest in the 15-minutes category. And out of the gadgets mentioned here, this is one of the worst-performing with a charge time of 2 hours and 10 minutes for a full charge.

Surprisingly, it is the much-hyped Apple iPhone 6 that languishes at the bottom with a charge time of 2 hours and 35 minutes, where Samsung Galaxy S6 is the leader with just 1 hour and 22 minutes.

Google Nexus 6

Starting with five minutes mobile battery charging time, the Google Nexus 6 charges the same as OnePlus 2 – 12%. In the 15-minutes charging slot, the Google device shows handsome progress with 25% of charging, whereas its companion, the OnePlus 2 manages only 20%.

The Google Nexus 6 still shows satisfactory progress at 44% in 30 minutes. And for a full charge, the Nexus 6 still manages to hold on the charging speed it caught up initially. And interestingly, the Google Nexus 6 finds another companion for a similar mobile battery charging time for a full charge.

Both Google Nexus 2 and Asus Zenfone 2 charge to its fullest in exactly and hour and 49 minutes.

We will easily some serious improvement, especially the Apple iPhone 6 as it takes the most of mobile battery charging time. Other mobile phones like LG G4 and Motorola Droid Turbo take less than two hours. So, this is serious competition for something like an Apple device on the charging front. Hope, Apple gets charged up to sort out this issue.
