Muhammad Ali: the Legend Honored by Apple on Homepage

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali passed away last week. The larger-than life boxer was associated with Apple for a very long time.  No wonder, they also showed their respect on the company’s homepage.

Muhammad Ali was a professional boxer from the US. Recently you might have noticed that Apple had paid an honorable tribute to this great boxer. He had been suffering from Parkinson’s disease for about 30 years. In the last few days he was suffering from respiratory ailments. Thus, Apple posted a black and white picture of the 74 years old legend to pay homage to this man. Apple added this picture on its homepage, where Muhammad Ali looks in his younger days.


Recently they just updated their website commemorating the loss of a significant figure in the history. The website comprises a beautiful quote saying “The man who has no imagination has no wings.” Apple has always been a good supporter of him. In 1997, there were videos of “Think Different” campaign where the boxer has been seen. Apple has been his admirer for a long time. He died on Friday, June 3 after which the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook shared a tweet about Muhammad Ali.
