Nokia launches Asha 502 in India at Rs. 5,739

Nokia has launched the Asha 502 for the Indian market. The price of the Nokia Asha 502 in India is Rs. 5,739.

The Asha 502 is the latest feature phone from the house of Nokia to be introduced in India. The phone is also available on the online store of Nokia. Nokia had unveiled the phone in the month of October at Nokia world. There were also other two phones that were launched then along with Asha 502 and they were the Asha 500 and the Asha 503.Nokia Asha 502a

The Nokia Asha 502, as the name suggests is built on the Asha platform of Nokia 1.1v. It also supports firmware over-the-air (FOTA) update. The phone has a 3-inch LCD display. The resolution of the screen is 240 X 320 (QVGA) pixels. The Nokia phone supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) options.

The phone supports dual standby and is available with Nokia Easy Swap feature. The phone extends support to Micro-SIM card in place of the standard SIM cards. There is 5MP camera rear camera that comes with LED flash. The memory of the phone can be expanded up to 32GB with a MicroSD card.

The Asha 502 comes with a reasonable 1010mAh battery. The battery can provide around 14 hours of talktime and standby time of up to 480 hours.

Fastland app was first introduced in the Asha 501 and the same app has been used in the Asha 502 as well. Nokia claims that they have worked on the interface once again for this latest gadget. Therefore, users will be able to access the camera app with one swipe. Even just one-touch sharing is possible with WhatsApp.
