The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has been in the news recently. Call it a technical glitch or a marketing hype, the phone was seen on JD.com, which is a Chinese retailer site. It’s almost certain that the phone will have a full-screen display for a 5.9-inch screen. The likely resolution is going to be 2160 x 1080 pixels. Like most devices these days, the Redmi Note 5 will also have an aspect ratio 18:9, which is also known as 2:1 ratio.
There will be a 2.0GHz processor in the company of Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chip. There will be two RAM options, which means, Xiaomi is offering two variants of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. The first will be 3GB RAM with 32GB of native storage. The second will be a bigger variant with 4GB and 64GB of internal storage. This is exactly the same as the Redmi Note 4 variants. There will be microSD card option for expanding the storage.
On the camera front, there will be 12MP snapper to the rear and a 5MP lens for your selfies. The Redmi Note 5 will be a dual-SIM smartphone. There will be 4000mAh battery and will run Android 7.1.
Coming to the pricing, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will cost $199 as of the latest information. Though, this isn’t enough as it’s not clear for which variant this pricing tag will be. There will be a few leaks and rumors as the launch date nears, which is expected to take place in this month only.
This time around, Xiaomi has brought out a troop of color options for you. Rose gold, black, white, gold, blue, pink, red, silver, and grey are the nine colors to choose from. The new Redmi phone will have a sleek design and thin bezels, which is now getting common for a lot of Xiaomi phones.
