The CES 2018 saw the unveiling of Linda, the combination of laptop and smartphone. The company will soon launch Razer 2 Phone, which will be powering Linda.
Razer 2 Phone
Razer 2 Phone is on the cards and this is what it’s related to. When Razer released a new concept of the Hybrid Android Phone-Laptop, it seemed too good to be true. Using the software and data on your phone and working with it on a huge screen attracted the attention and admiration of people everywhere. Well, soon we might be able to see this concept transform into a reality. With the launch of the Razer Phone 2, we might soon be inching towards this new upgrade.
The Linda laptop packs up a powerful punch in itself. The most attractive feature is the huge 13.3-inch Quad HD screen. The laptop is high in memory too. With a 200GB internal storage, and also the phone acting as a backup storage for the lappy, it has plenty of storage to play with. The Razer 2 phone also features a 3.5-millimetre audio jack, a USB-A port. It also comes with a USB-C charging port, a 720p webcam and also a dual-array microphone. The device in itself is also pretty lightweight with an overall 15mm thickness and a 1.2 kg of weight.
But, the gadget cannot function without the smartphone as it houses the functioning capacity, storage, and data of the laptop and also acts as the trackpad. So, if you tend to leave your smartphone and depend only on your laptop, this might not be a good option for you.
The phone also has some pretty decent specs. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and also runs on 8GB of RAM. Sources confirm that we might be seeing the Razer Phone 2 with a release date sometime in September 2018. Till then, Project Linda can be a reason for companies to kick themselves for not coming upon this idea earlier.
