LG is in all readiness to launch their first Smartphone with curved display. The G Flex may possibly be launched in Hong Kong at an event in December – next month.
The United States and Europe were the major markets for the phone and the VC of LG, Koo Bin-joon had stated about this before. LG was also in talks global communication companies regarding the launch of the phone.
The event in Hong Kong has been scheduled for December 3 and LG has published an invitation about the same. This was reported by a Chinese publication 3G.CN. Many details are likely to be reveled about the phone, as well as the availability, the pricing apart from the launch details.
It can be recalled that LG had confirmed the launch of the Smartphone in France with the help of the mobile carrier, Orange. However, there aren’t any price details about the phone yet.
LG may also come up with the launch of the G Flex in some more countries. Those are the developments in the future and are likely to materialize very soon. The G Flex is yet to be launched. But what’s more, LG has also begun work on a successor to the G Flex.
The successor is rumored to be known as the G Flex 2. It is being reported that the Flex 2 could have a sturdy rubber body that will allow the device to bend up to 90 degrees. The gadget will also include a flexible battery. But there weren’t any details available on the removable battery.
The device is expected to be launched in the second quarter of the next year.
