Review of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 was announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) this year. One of the amazing things the journalists experienced there was the ability of the Note 8.0 to make calls. This Samsung device is designed and resembles more like Asus Fonepad.

But then allowing you to make a phone call is the probably the best feature of the Note 8.0. So, the gadget is great for the people who would like to carry a tab and a phone in one device. However, this device is after all a tablet and so feels bigger for a phone – it is large and it is indeed big.samsugn-galaxy-note-8

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 comes with plastic casing. It doesn’t really look good for a Galaxy Note like this one to have a plastic casing. However, the plastic case has reduced the weight and that’s why is easy to hold and operate. As the gadget is tab-cum-phone, it is a tad large to term it as a phone.

The upside of the Note 8.0 is the charging port. Samsung has used a micro USB port for charging, instead of its proprietary charging port. You will find a standby switch as well as the volume button to the right of the Samsung gadget. And what’s more, there is the S Pen to the rear that remains hidden until you discover it.

There is certainly a difference in the display if you were to compare the Samsung Galaxy 4 and Galaxy Note 8.0. The colors look a bit off color as against the Note 8.0. It must be admitted that there isn’t too much of a difference between the displays of the Galaxy 4 and Note 8.0. However, considering the price tag of the Note, the colors could have been better enough.
