Review and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3

Yesterday, Samsung launched the Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 India. We had reported about the launch. Though the Mega 5.8 is more of a phablet, the huge 6.3” screen looks to push the same in the tab region. The Mega 6.3 is the bigger of the two gadgets launched by Samsung on the same day in India.
Here are the specs of the Mega 6.3 in a nutshell
Display: As the “6.3” suggests, there’s a 6.3” display with TFT capacitive touchscreen.
Resolution: The resolution of the phone is 720 X 1280 pixels (233ppi).
Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, 1.7GHz Krait CPU, Adreno 305 GPU
RAM: 1.5 GB
OS: The Samsung gadget runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean).
Memory: The Mega 6.3 has memory capacity of 8 GB and 16 GB. However, with MicroSD card, it can be easily expanded.
Dimensions & Weight: The dimensions of the phone are 167.6 mm X 88 mm X 8 mm, while the weight is just 199 g.
Camera (Imaging): There is an 8MP rear camera with auto-focus and face-detection technology. For video calling, there is 1.9MP front camera.
Camera (Video): Video shooting can be done at 30fps in Full HD.
Battery: The 3,200 mAh battery is strong enough to run various apps and carry out Full HD shooting.
Connectivity: For connectivity purpose there are Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, a microUSB port and Bluetooth 4.0.
