Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro and Gear Sport has been launched at an event in Gurugram on Wednesday. Priced at Rs. 13,590 and Rs. 22,990 respectively.

Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro and Samsung Gear Sport have been launched by the company in addition to the lineup of wearable in India. The company launched these two wearable on Wednesday at a press event in Gurugram. Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro and Gear Sport was first announced at the IFA 2017 in Berlin previously in August. These two wearable have two color options namely Red and Black. Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro is priced at 13,590 INR and Gear Sport is priced at 22,990 INR. Both of them will be available from December.
This fitness gear sports a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 216 x 432 pixels resolution. The display panel can also be used as an effective secondary screen which enables the users to respond to messages with preset replies and emoticons, view maps, activity statistics, and archives. Similarly, this wearable even gives real-time notifications and updates.
Talking about the Samsung Gear Sport, it has a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED circular display. It also supports a rotating bezel UI with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels. The battery backup offered is 300 mAh that can be wirelessly charged. However, overlooking the differences like form factors and display panels. There are also a lot of similarities as well. Both of them is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor with 4GB onboard memory.
The Gear Fit2 Pro features a memory chip of 512 MB and Gear Sport has 768 MB RAM. Both of them are water-resistant to 5ATM and have a certification of MIL-STD-810G. Talking about connectivity, Samsung has provided Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity, and heart rate sensors. There’s also built-in GPS for better tracking. These devices have Tizen OS with specs like auto activity detection for recognizing activities like running, cycling, walking, among others. Furthermore, Samsung has recently partnered with Under Armour and Speedo for backing up support for Endomondo apps, MapMyRun, MyFitnessPal, and Under Armour Record.
At the event, Samsung showcased brand new IconX earbuds which can take over Apple AirPods at IFA 2017 and was unveiled along with Galaxy Note 7 the previous year. These earbuds are priced at 13,490 INR.
