Samsung has launched the Galaxy Grand 2 with quad-core processor. The Galaxy Grand 2 is from the Galaxy Grand family and a successor to the same, which has been a highly successful phablet. The Galaxy Grand had a dual-core processor, while the decadent has a quad-core processor.
The display of the new phablet is 5.25 inch with TFT screen and a display resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels. The screen is built with 16:9 HD ratio, also known as the wide angle ratio. This is best for viewing films or playing games in particular.
The phablet comes with 8MP rear camera and has dual-SIM option. The front camera is 1.9MP and it can shoot as well as record in HD mode. The Samsung device runs on 1.2 GHz processor and has 1.5 GB of RAM. The internal memory of the device is 8GB, which can be expanded up to 64GB with MicroSD card.
The phablet extends support to Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi a/b/g/n, GPS and has USB 2.0. The OS used in the phone is 4.3 version of Android. The battery in the gadget has a capacity of 2600mAh. The battery supports up to 17 hours of calling and 10 hours of playback.
Accelerometer, Proximity, Compass, Hall Sensor and Light are the sensors in the phablet. Story Album, S Translator, S Travel are some of the other features of the phone.
