Technology giant Samsung has launched two Galaxy Mega Smartphones – the Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 in India today. The “5.8” in Mega 5.8 and “6.3” in Galaxy Mega 6.3 are the screen sizes of the gadgets. So it is easy to make out the difference between the devices. The Mega 5.8 comes at a cost of Rs. 25,100, while the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is priced higher at Rs. 31,490. These are the official prices of the two gadgets. Out of the two phablets, the Mega 5.8 will be available from June 3. However, there is no word on the availability of the Galaxy Mega 6.3.
Samsung will work with a couple of carriers – RCOM and Vodafone. The customers of RCOM are being offered 2GB of free data for three months. What’s more, access to WhatsApp, Big flicks, Facebook and Twitter will also be offered unlimited. The Vodafone users are also being offered a couple of GB of data free. However, they will be given a free usage period only for two months.
