Some days ago we had reported about the Samsung Galaxy S4 launch and that the device being ready for sales in the US. And now the Samsung Galaxy S4 is all set to hit the Indian markets. Samsung will launch the Galaxy S4 on April 26. The company has begun to send media invites for the launching event.

The maximum retail price (MRP) of the Galaxy S4 is expected to be around Rs. 42,000. The MRP is still estimation. However, if the price tag of the S4 indeed hovers around the Rs. 40,000 mark, it will give a tough fight to HTC One, which is tagged at a price of Rs. 42,900.
RAM & Resolution
The Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with 2GB RAM; 5” full HD AMOLED and has a pixel density of 441 ppi. The resolution is 1920 X 1080 pixels. The Smartphone comes in two variants – the 32GB and 64 GB. A microSD card slot is available.
Battery & IR Gesture
The S4 comes with 2,600 mAh powerful battery for an excellent backup. The new Smartphone comes with eight sensors. The IR Gesture (Infra Red Gesture) sensor is a new inclusion for the remote control functions. The IRG can be used for turning the Smartphone in a remote control for the TV, while the sensor comes handy in controlling temperature and humidity.
Processor & OS
The S4 comes equipped with 1.9Ghz quad-core Snapdragon processor for superfast processing and runs Android 4.2.2. Jelly Bean version. The Smartphone is also available in 1.6 octa-core (eight core) processor and this is the one that India is more likely to have in its models.
For connectivity purposes there is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 version.
