With a brigade of six Smartphones, ZTE enters the Indian market. It is a very healthy kickoff for the company as the phones are all of great quality and performance. These phones are the Blade L, the Kis Flex, Grand X Quad Lite, the Blade C, the Blade G2, and the Blade E.
The phones run on Android and have a very fluctuating price range. That will allow the customers to choose from the ones of their liking. The lowest in the range costs Rs. 5,799, while the costliest of the lot is of Rs. 14,999.
It is the Kis Flex that costs the lowest at RS. 5,799, while the Grand X costs the most. The other Smartphones with their respective price tags are Blade C for Rs. 7,599; the Blade G2 costs Rs. 11,599, while the Blade L comes at Rs. 12,599. The Blade E costs Rs. 11,999.
There are some more things in common than having a common OS as said above. All the phones have 512MB of RAM and are built with the latest versions of the operating system. However, only the Kis Flex runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread – too old a version of the Android OS.
A 1GHz dual-core processor powers the Blade C that runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The phone has 4 GB of built-in storage that can be expanded up to 32GB with MicroSD card. The 4-inch display has a resolution of 800 X 480 pixels. The phone has dual SIM option that includes 2G, 3G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. There is a 3MP camera in the 1600mAh battery powered Smartphone.
The Blade E runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The phone has a 4.5-inch display and has a resolution of 854 X 480 pixels. There is 4GB of built-in memory and can go up to 32GB with MicroSD card. The phone has two cameras – the rear camera is 5MP while the front camera is a VGA. Like the Blade C, the Blade E also has 1600mAh battery.
The Blade G2 comes with 4.5-inch display and a resolution of 854 X 480. A 1.2GHz quad-core processor powers the phone and it runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. There is 4GB of memory space and can go up to 32GB with MicroSD card. It also has 5MP rear and VGA front camera. However, it has a slightly better battery backup with 2000mAh battery.
A 1.2GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich power the Blade L. it comes with a display of 5 inches and a resolution of 800 X 480 pixels.
There is a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front shooter. A 2000mAh battery powers the phone. 4GB of internal storage capacity can be increased with MicroSD card up to 32GB.
The Kis Flex has a display of 3.5 inches with a resolution of 480 X 320 pixels. It runs on the oldest Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It has a 2MP camera and a 1200mAh battery. It only has 512 of storage and 256 MB of RAM.
The costliest of the lot happens to be the Grand X Quad Lite. A 1.2GHz quad-core processor powers the phone, which runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It has 5-inch screen with a qHD resolution of 960 X 540 pixels.
The Grand X has a 5MP rear camera and a VGA camera to the front. It has the strongest battery of the six Smartphones with 2500mAh.
