Sony Xperia ZL and Z prices cut; ready for Xperia Z Ultra launch

The prices of Sony Xperia ZL and Z prices have been brought down which can be a potential signal to the launch of Xperia Z Ultra. This is no doubt good news for those who are looking for new Smartphones.

The Sony Xperia Z carried a price tag of Rs. 38,990. Sony has brought the prices down by Rs. 5,000 and it is now available at Rs. 33,990. The Xperia ZL initially cost Rs. 34,990 can now be purchased for Rs. 29,490 – a cut of Rs. 5,000 here as well.
But why is Sony bringing down the prices of these Smartphones? Well, there is a reason for it. According to experts in the field, Sony will soon be bringing out the Sony Xperia Z Ultra. And the drop in prices is seen as a strategic move by Sony.Xony Xperia
The new gadget would be a 6.4 inch device and Sony wants a plane ground ready for the launch of the Z Ultra. That is why the reduction in price of the Xperia ZL and Z.
As most companies are doing these days, Sony will be offering EMI plans for the new device. There will be two options for the users to choose from – the 6-month and 12-month period. The offers are on ICICI, HDFC and Citibank credit cards. Sony won’t be charging any interest during the EMI period as well.
That’s not all. The Xperia Z customers can get a premium case wroth Rs. 1,990 totally free. On the other hand, the Xperia ZL customers will get a free snap-on cover costing Rs. 1,490.
Both Xperia Z and Xperia ZL were launched earlier this year. Both phones got a warm response in the Indian market. These Smartphones come with 5 inch Full HD Reality display. They run on 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 processor. The OS used in both devices is the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
2GB of RAM is built-in both Smartphones. There is 13MP rear camera that has been the apple of everyone’s eyes. Apart from that there is 2MP of front facing camera as well.
Both phones have Li-Ion 2300 mAh battery and 16 GB of internal storage, which can be expandable up to 32 GB.
