Spice has launched the Spice Coolpad Mi-515 – their latest Smartphone for Rs. 9,990. The Smartphone is built with a 5.0-inch display. Coolpad is actually a company from China with whom Spice Mobiles from India has tied up.
The Spice Coolpad Mi-515 was listed with Saholic, which is the online retail. The gadget comes with a 5-inch display and has a resolution of 540 X 960 pixels. The Spice Coolpad gadget has 1GB RAM and 1.2GHz quad-core processor sits pretty inside it.
The Smartphone has an inbuilt memory of 4GB and with MicroSD card, it can be increased up to 32GB. The dual-SIM phone has dual standby. One of the two SIMs carries 3G connectivity.
The operating system used in the Smartphone is the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The phone has 2000mAh battery and gives it sufficient backup. The rear camera is the 5MP one with auto-focus and LED flash. As for the front camera, there is the VGA snapper.
Apart from the 3G connectivity option available as said above, the other options are GPS/ aGPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth.
Mr. Dilip Modi, who is the Co-Founder and COO Spice Group, has said that the launch of the Spice Coolpad means the breaking of the price barrier in the quad-core Smartphone category. The reasonably priced phone can also give high internet access to the customers.
He also added that the company will also be launching some more models under the brand of Spiace Coolpad.
