Some days ago we had reported that The water-proof Sony Xperia ZR being developed. And finally, the Xperia ZR was unveiled. The phone that runs on Android comes with 4.6” screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core 1.5 GHz processor. It is built with a 13MP camera for excellent image and video shooting.
The term “waterproof” should be interpreted as the ability of the phone to remain underwater up to a depth of five feet for about half an hour. The water-proofing ability allows you to take underwater shots as well. Also, all the photos come in full HD.
There is a special dedicated key for the camera. So you can click immediately even if the phone remains locked. That makes sure you do not lose out on any moment worth capturing. The phone makes use of Exmor RS for the mobile image sensor. The best part is that the pictures and videos are captured in the best possible settings. With the burst mode, photos can be captured at 15fps (frames per second).
The Sony phone comes with 2 GB of RAM and has an 8 GB of built-in storage. The memory can be pushed up to 32 GB with the MicroSD card. And there’s one more new feature from Sony. They have the “Stamina” technology in the battery which makes the battery last up to four times longer as it cuts down on energy-consuming apps.
